Broadland Northway open for drivers
Motorists in and around Norwich can use the full length of the new Broadland Northway.
Formerly known as the Norwich Northern Distributor Road (NDR), the Broadland Northway links the A1067 and the A47 and will carry around 40,000 vehicles per day. It is expected to bring up to £1bn of economic benefits, improving access to the region through improved journey times. It has been supported by a £10m investment through our Growth Deal with Government.

Reasons to celebrate for Enterprise Zone

The New Anglia Space to Innovate Enterprise Zone celebrated its second anniversary this month and it is hitting its targets for job creation and private sector capital investment.
The sites have already become home to 56 companies, delivering 247 new jobs and attracting more than £9m of private sector capital investment. In addition, 1,015 construction jobs have been created across the ten sites.
Ten sites across Norfolk and Suffolk form the Space to Innovate Enterprise Zone, offering new and expanding businesses a range of benefits, including discounted business rates, simplified planning and access to superfast broadband.

Green light for two new Enterprise Zone projects
A development bringing more than 100 jobs to one of New Anglia LEP’s Space to Innovate Enterprise Zone sites has been approved. The green light has been given to national food company LDH La Doria for the first new development on Swich Park, the former sugar beet factory site in Sproughton, west of Ipswich.
In Bury St Edmunds, Treatt PLC, manufacturer and supplier of ingredient solutions for the flavour, fragrance, beverage and consumer product industries, has been granted planning permission to relocate and expand its global headquarters to a new 10-acre site within the Enterprise Zone site at Suffolk Park.
